With roots going back to the early 1990s, Oregon Bach Collegium is a collective of student, professional, and avocational musicians dedicated to historical performance practices. Music from the 16th- 18th centuries forms the core of our programming, but we have also featured music of the medieval and Romantic periods. Playing on period-appropriate instruments, we strive to tell a story with each program – from the famous Concerto delle Donne in the 16th-century court of Ferrara, to the Schubertiades in the salons of 19th-century Vienna.
