A bonus concert in Cottage Grove on May 11th at 3 PM, titled “For Mothers and Others.” This light-hearted afternoon program includes Bach’s Peasant Cantata and selections from the Anna Magdelena Notebook for harpsichord, plus humorous vocal parodies featuring our local host Laurence Crumb. Performers include Margret Gries, harpsichord, Philip Engdahl, baritone, Vanessa Nowitsky, soprano, and baroque violinists Charles Hanking and Holly Roberts. Our venue in Cottage Grove is St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1301 West Main Street. This is a free concert, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
